Did no one else find the Inochi thing… frightening… in some abstract Poe/King warped reality kind of way? Forget that chick from Ju-on, imagine waking up to find that thing peaking up at you from the end of your bed.
“umm, i can’t even begin to comprehend this, let alone explain it. other than to say that “inochi” means “life” and it’s a short film (or something) by the artist Murakami Takashi: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murakami_Takashi
“additionally, although i am completely baffled, i’m also not really surprised or phased; this has “japan” written all over it and doesn’t seem that weird based on some other movies i’ve seen…”
And this:

I was thinking we should drop a couple of more bombs on Japan, but then I began to think that maybe the radiation is to blame for all this.

it’s a piece of installation art by murakami. he also had a naked model of inochi at his show.
but this should definitely be a real tv show.

hamd1234 is right.
Inochi was a sculpture that Murakami made, and then he shot “commercials” for it, as if it were another luxury product.
