We all have dreams.
Space shuttle Discovery blasts off with bat stowaway
A bat that apparently had trouble flying instead tried to hitch a ride on the space shuttle Discovery, NASA officials said. The animal was last seen clinging on the foam of the external tank of the space shuttle moments before the Discovery launched, officials said. NASA officials had hoped the bat would fly away on its own, but admitted the bat probably died quickly during Discovery's climb into orbit.
Spacebat was daring and brave, and had that special grace, that special spirit that says, "Give me a challenge and I'll meet it with joy." He had a hunger to explore the universe and discover its truths. He wished to serve, and he did. He served all of us.

So take these broken wings
And learn to fly again, learn to live so free
When we hear the voices sing
The book of love will open up and let us in
Take these broken wings
You’ve got to learn to fly, learn to live and love so free
When we hear the voices sing
The book of love will open up for us and let us in
RIP hero.

“Infrared imagery shows he was alive and not frozen like many would think … Liftoff imagery analysis confirmed that he held on until at least the vehicle cleared [the] tower before we lost sight of him.”
Thank god for liftoff imagery analysis..
