I think that the fact that it bothers me to look at that photo means something. If a child doesn’t have to be held up to a breast to feed, then it’s too old.
@sweetestsadist Babies get teeth as young as 3 months old, that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be nursing. America is undereducated about breastfeeding in general. Breasts are for making milk FIRST and men SECOND. The reason the picture (aside from the gun) makes people uncomfortable is because the majority of babies in America are fed formula make from cow’s milk in a bottle. When women stop hiding to breastfeed it will become more normal to see and people won’t get up in arms over a breast.
The benefits of breast milk don’t end when babies get teeth/learn to sit up/turn one.
