I’m liberal so I can smoke, drink, wear what ever I want and do what ever I want. Owait I think I’ve mixed being liberal with libertarianism. My mistake.

i think the saddest part are the reasons for their random affiliation to two rather complicated modes of political thought– broken down along arbitrary issues rather than actually indicative of any substantial thought

“I feel they did Martha Stewart wrong”

    uhh…..what?

how does that have anything to do with politics?

Antoinette is the only one with any somewhat logical answer to the question.

Obviously, they mean the word Liberal for what it ACTUALLY means, not the modern sense, for which “Social Democrat” or even “socialist” is more accurate.

This article, wherever it’s from, must have been heavily biased toward conservatism. This takes a few quotes from some dumb kids who think they’re liberals and makes all liberals look like tard-asses. liberalism is not about “having no rules.” Even the pictures used make the kids look like doped up ass-brains, and they use some semi-intellectual pictures of the conservatives in the article to give them the positive image. Not to say I have anything against either side of the spectrum, be you liberal or conservative, there is no gain in belittling the other political parties, all you do is make your own party look like a bunch of power hungry douchebags bent on thought possession. Drop the bias and start looking at both ends of the spectrum with equal criticism. This just further proves that social classing and democratic society turns humans into idiots.

    Yeah…..
To call modern day “liberals” either of those terms is insulting to social dems & socialists alike. Plus, i doubt they are using classical liberal arguments in their decisions.
