Like weird 90’s VHS? Do you live near LA? Go see Everything is Terrible.

Every Thing is Terrible is releaseing a DVD and showing a movie in LA. You need to be there. It is at The Silent Movie Theatre in Los Angeles at 10:30pm and is only $10. If you can’t make it at least check out their site.
Here is some more info on the event and you can buy tickets here
Official stuff

Found footage has moved from sub-culture to art form. From late night infomercials to forgotten Z-movies, there’s an orchard of bad content just ripe for the picking, and the folks at Everything Is Terrible! (www.everythingisterrible.com) may be the world’s best hope. Their daily postings of genuinely ridiculous videos and out of context movie scenes ripped from old VHS releases have been hailed by Time, BoingBoing, Buzzfeed, WFMU, Videogum, Best Week Ever, The Soup, and Jezebel, while the CBC deemed it simply ‘The best site ever.’
Everything is Terrible! is a found-VHS site, and each video is disturbing, hilarious, and definitely thought provoking. Their videos have garnered millions of hits on Youtube and Vimeo, so you’re probably familiar with at least one of these “masterpieces,” even if you’re not checking the site obsessively.
EIT! is on the forefront of internet video today, and they’re poised to blow up. You read the list of fans above. They’re even in talks for their own TV show, for heaven’s sakes!
‘Everything is Terrible! The Movie’ takes the very best/worst clips out from the depths of the Video-Doldrums and glues it together in order to create the most mind-melting-mash-up video party imaginable. Each ‘episode’ has been divided into themes such as ‘Creeps,’ ‘Business Manners’ ‘Fake Rap’ etc. No DVD would be complete without deleted scenes, music videos, and plenty of other found footage never before seen by normal people… UNTIL NOW! Not to be missed is the ‘3 Minute Movies’ section that will feature 2-3 minute versions of all the movies you’d never have the guts to watch in their entirety. Watch it with the ones you love. We guarantee that everyone who sees it will call it ‘quite possibly the greatest form of art in human history.’

Saturday, June 20 at the Silent Movie Theatre in LA, the entire EIT gang will be appearing in person to present their feature presentation/DVD release: ‘Everything Is Terrible! The Movie’. There will be prizes for everyone, plus some very special top secret guests. Viva la VHS!!
